Ak-Sar-Ben's River City Rodeo & Stock Show (ARCR) is
Omaha's "Official Celebration". ARCR is September 23rd through 26th at Qwest Center Omaha. Come see animals at the Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Stock Show, exhibits at the Douglas County Fair or attend the Rodeo which is hosting the Justin Boots Championships of the Million Dollar Tour and broadcasted on ESPN.
Thursday Night is the Rodeo only with tickets starting at $15. Following the Rodeo on Friday and Saturday nights is a concert. Veteran artists Sawyer Brown will perform on Friday, September 24th and Jack Ingram will take the stage on Saturday, September 25th. Tickets for the Rodeo/Concerts start as low as $17. ARCR is free to attend with a variety of family and kid's activities including Vendors, BBQ Contest, Kiwanis Pancake Feed, Heritage Parade, Texas Hold 'Em Tournament, UNL Extension Interactive Displays and a whole lot more! PRESIDENT'S CORNER
We had a great turn out at Fox and Hounds and I appreciate all of you who stepped up to make it a great reception for potential new members. We had between 25 and 30 people total (club members and guests) and it was a lot of fun. Try to put this event on your calendar (Sept. 2) so you don't miss it.
